Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

I know I haven't been updating this for... half a month...

But that's mainly because I don't really have anything to blog about...

Oh well... I can't just leave this outdated... I'll just make something up as I go along.

Recently, I played Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (and finished it in one day - amazing record xD) I have to say, it's a spectacular game full of detailed graphics and awesome storyline. I just thought it was a tad too short =.= hmm...
Yeah, I know the game was released years ago... but the fact that I get to play it, it's good enough for me =P

However, in my opinion, the biggest impact the game had on me is that it really made me think of many, many things... Call me thinking-too-much-nonsense if you want, but I prefer to think of myself as... a deep-thinker... haha xD

Back to the topic, it made me think of the effects of war, comradeship and so on...
I mean, you actually get to be in the first-person view of a dying soldier in the game! Not only is that very innovative and detailed, but it makes you somehow experience it... (minus the physical pain, of course)

There is a non-standard GAME OVER, if you happen to shoot and kill any of your comrades. Some message will pop up, saying "Friendly-fire will not be tolerated."
And, wow... that actually made me feel bad for shooting my comrade, even though it was accidental.

The big difference here, is that while in the game you can get shot directly a few times before you get hurt, in real life that is definitely not the case. One direct hit, and the person is most likely gone.
Also, while you can restart the game again and again if you fail, that certainly does not apply in real life...

So, really... what's up with war?

Man, I'm making myself emo =.= I'd better stop here before I won't be able to get any sleep xD

Well, on a lighter note, I've recovered 75% from my cold.
Wait, I had a cold!?
Oh yes, I did... it wasn't that bad... but it was bad enough to make me day dream nonstop and laugh to myself...

All I did was take some medicine, sleep a bit.
Once I woke up, boom! 75% recovered.
Some people say I'm made of metal =P

Oh well... that's all for now I guess...
Later~!
