I'm shocked. Literally. No, not because of what happened as stated in my earlier post (I'm sooo over that) But because of these amazing DDR players (amazing is an understatement, actually) and they use their FEET and the dance pad instead of the controller xD (that's me)



I really have nothing to say xD I'm just...amazed...I couldn't even pass while playing that song with my keyboard xD well I could if I set it to an easier level, but still...that doesn't change the fact that these pros are WAAAAAYYYYY better...

And it somehow reminds me of shuffle xD Meh...whatever. One needs extremely fast speed <_<...I guess I rushed to my blog just to post this xD weird...

What a day...

Current manga: Mekakushi no Kuni (yes, I've finished X/1999...you can say I read manga as much as I eat rice xD xD xD)
What a day..........I'm still a bit stunned with what happened today. After music class (replacement) I waited for my dad and about 5 mins. later he came. Then I followed him across the road and suddenly this $*%^$(*%#%(*#&$(* daredevil motorcyclist came busting through. The guy literally passed in between me and my dad O_o... If I hadn't look to my right and stopped I would have ........... Anyway I'm really annoyed by that guy. I mean who does he think he is?! Gyahh...that's the second time this year I've almost got hit by a vehicle <_<">

Current music: Maximum the Hormone - Buikikaesu!! (Incredibly loud and rock-type @_@ but still very catchy to me kyahahaha)
Current anime: Sayonara Zetsubou-sensei (still waiting for new eps T.T) X/1999 (just finished last night)
Current manga: X/1999 (it's already on hiatus though T.T) but the manga is a LOT different from the anime...oh well...better not spoil it xD

Sigh...I can't believe it. Last night at around 12 I fell asleep WITH THE LIGHTS ON Dx
Next thing I knew, it was 6 in the morning...without thinking properly, I switched off the lights and went back to sleep. (that's what I can interpret though, since all I remember doing is switch the lights off and lie on my bed xD)
I dunno what happened next. When I finally opened my eyes it was 11:30 xO
How did I spent 5 1/2 hours like that?! Kyaaaaaaahhhhhhhh

Ah well...can't undo it =( anyway I felt bored so here I am typing this post <_<
I can't get the song Buikikaesu!! out of my head <_< it's just so...so...catchy~ Not my type of rock, since there's a lot of screaming and...you know...but this one is an exception xD
Other exceptions would be What's Up, People?! and Zetsubou Billy (not the anime xD) from the same artists. At first I disliked them but the more I listened the better it got xD

My parents bought a can of Pringles last night. CHEESY cheese <_< what kind of flavour is that?! CHEESY...what a CHEESY name...and CHEESY taste... (looks up cheesy in the dictionary if you don't get what I mean xD)

I guess I shouldn't ramble too much...a lot of nonsense and unimportant stuff here...
Oh..OH YEAH...this manga...X...I LOVE THE ART...it's SPECTACULAR...but still...you can't expect any less from CLAMP, the famous team, also the creators of Cardcaptor Sakura, Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles, xxxHolic, Chobits, and a LOT more @_@...too many to put here.
But they're also well-known for their tendency to put in homosexual relationships in their works <_<>_> <_<
About X, I like the fact that Kamui (main chara) is not your average "you must save the world" kind of guy...since he has the choice to either save it or destroy it. (though in the end...<_<)
and as I said before...the art...absolutely love it. I thought first that it would be simple and cute )like Cardcaptor Sakura) but there's a lot of violence and gore! And more complex emotions and storyline that what you can find from CCS.

Holidays have started! Just for one week though T_T. And it's not like there's no holiday homework...Myah...what am I getting so happy about anyway =.=
I guess that's probably coz big bro's coming back tomorrow ^.^ Haven't seen him for months now...haaa miss him a lot~ Yet he'll only be here for one week T_T

Anyway, somehow I am reminded of an incident about a week or two before the excels started =( No idea how I remembered, but well, I did.

The dread I caused myself is that I stepped on a book... (Dum Dum DUUUMMMM!!!!!)


Alright, whoever you are reading this is probably laughing your head off right now, but it's not my fault! A classmate (let's just call her CM for classmate, k?) freaked me out...

CM: Cynthia!!! You cannot step on a book one goh! If you step kan, you cannot read book one ah! (So she's saying that I'm JINXED?!)
Cyn: *.* ?! .......

[It's not that I believe it, it doesn't even make sense =.= But you can never be too careless...]

Cyn: (Walks away from the annoying CM towards Siah) S...Siah! Issit true that if you step on a book you won't be able to study?!
Siah: That's what my grandmother say la (Gehhh O_o;;;)

(And later I even asked another CM...forgot who that was though xD)
Cyn: ACM! (Another ClassMate in case you're too dense to think) *repeats utterly stupid and illogical question*

Cyn: *swt* O...okay... (then I realized how jinxed I really was =.= to be worried about something like this)

Superstition, superstition...I wonder how they are created anyway...did those who believe and/or created them actually had bad things happen to them?

If they were really true I wonder what would have happened to me by now O_o;;;

Not too sure about this one xD because I remember one day in primary school when it was May 13, Friday (eep!) and one of my classmates got a 79 in Science xD.

Gee, never really thought of sweeping when I'm celebrating xD but why do I see others sweeping when I visited their house? (And I can bet that they are Chinese!)

By the way, the current anime I'm watching, Sayonara Zetsubou-sensei...I'm currently reading the manga for that too hahahaha The anime can be watched in YouTube (there's only 4 episodes so fare though, since it's still airing in Japan) How pessimistic the main character can be xD Itoshiki Nozomu a.k.a. Zetsubou-sensei!

Wahh...finally the 2nd Excel PMR/2nd Semester Topical Test is over! Really a test of endurance xD. Gah...now what's there to worry about is the Trial Exam in September and the actual PMR on October 1st @_@. That can wait though xD I wanna relax a bit for tonight~
English Club...augh...some kind of poem competition...and then there's this recycling newspapers competition...30 is not little, seriously =.= and if you multiply that by...err I don't know, 60 people? Gosh~
Anyway, about today's "hot topic". It's really hard to avoid listening to gossips and rumours around when they're everywhere =.= Some kiddo seems to be making a profit by selling Excel papers?! Geh, not my business. Whether it's true or not, I want no part in this. Whoever you are, pal, whether you're innocent or not, only you and God knows, ok?

Semester 2 Topical Test/Excel PMR 2

Tomorrow is D-Day! Semester 2 Topical Test/Excel PMR 2! (For Form 3 students) Form 1 and 2 have already finished with their tests <_<.

Everyday at school I see students bringing thick thick reference books and loads of workbooks to study xO makes me feel so awkward. Not that I don't bring books to study too =^^=, but they seem to bring a BRICK LOAD compared to me <_< (but if you're wondering why I bring TWO bags to school instead of one like the others, then you can say I keep a lot of documents and papers xD 2nd reason: I draw too much <_<

Anyway, nobody seems to be online today <_<. My online contacts in Messenger consist of only the juniors...dang, I better go offline this instant! Will post after tests are over. Bye!

Cynthia: But bromine is...poisonous...
Crystal: It IS poisonous (referring to the mouthwash X_X)

Something makes me wonder...about the many different genres of anime/manga out there.
I don't know why I'm posting this myself (meh =_=) it's not that I'm an anime/manga freak (I can still control myself) but probably I'm posting this just to...y'know, post something xD
Anyway, these are the genres that make me wonder...
a) Shounen (少年) - Ah..typical shounen involves action like Dragonball, Naruto, Bleach...you get what I mean...Not my type though...it's like one enemy comes and goes then another comes again...oh well...

b) Shoujo (少女) - Hahaha xD Shoujo involves lots of romance, and lovey-dovey situations, usually for young girls (hence the genre "shoujo" which means young girls)
For me it depends...I don't like those typical ditsy + brainless girls and those who go all lovey-dovey and mushy =_=" Examples of shoujo would be Fruits Basket and Ouran High school Host Club.

c) Seinen (青年) - Aimed at older guys...so I guess you know what I mean. But there are many types of seinen...like romance (more to the adult side), action, life, horror...whatever...examples include Death Note, Emma, Bitter Virgin..etc...

d) Josei (女性) - Usually for older women. They tend to be about everyday life and stuff. There can be some romance and even homosexual scenes too (eep! O_o;;). Examples of josei are Honey and Clover, Paradise Kiss, Nana.

e) Yaoi (やおい) - Uh oh...definitely not my type. Yaoi focuses on homosexual male relationships...mostly sexually (shounen-ai "boy-love" is more mild. not sexually explicit) For some reason yaoi/shounen-ai seems to be very popular among girls *swt*
Oh well, not me...Some yaoi include Okane ga nai, Desire.

f) Yuri (百合) - I suppose you would know by now...lesbian relationships @_@ (the milder version is shoujo-ai) Not my type either. Examples include Strawberry Panic!, Noir.

I guess I rambled too much, eh? *Deep breath* now my tension is relieved...haaahh...
Well, of course there are many MANY more genres but I guess I'll focus only on these six. By the way I feel worse today than I did yesterday =.= what kind of medicine did they give me...

Sore throat, fever, flu...And as if it couldn't get any worse, I get this mind-numbing headache (or a migraine, I think) every few minutes...I hope I'll get better by Monday. I hate going to school feeling like a sloth =.= (I did twice, it was NOT a good feeling).
Anyway, that doesn't stop me from tuning-up my blog though ^_^
Thanks to Tung's guidance, I finally know how to change the layout and add a cbox~
(It's not that I'm computer illiterate, it's just that I really don't get these html codings =.= they're confusing)

I'm thinking of adding music too O_o...(I dunno, this blog feels kinda dull...and empty) I'll see about that...

Oh well, I guess I should stop here...I really need to get some rest...headache's coming back...gahhhh
