Autograph...

There isn't much time left until school ends...
Not much longer until we Form Five students become former students...

Sure, some of us may continue to be together as if by fate, but most us.....will say bye-bye.

But then, what is important is cherishing the laughter and joy that we shared.
Maybe many, many years after this...when we have all become 'asau' and 'apek' then we can laugh at each other's grey hair and wrinkles. xD

But the friendship is still good as new.

I, being the old-fashioned one, used my birthday present (autograph book) and asked some people to write in it. It's just that something written personally gives you a very.....warm and fuzzy feeling...(maybe it's just me, but I like it this way)

14 years: Tung
Tung, oh Tung xP
From arguing over a toy in nursery, to dancing in the classroom in primary school...
...and now we still laugh over small matters in secondary school xD
Fourteen years, man! Surely it can go longer than that ^^

11 years: Lim Jun Yee (a.k.a. Patrick xD)
Though we've been separated for I-don't-know-how-many-years before getting back to the same class xP. I tease him a lot, and vice versa.

10 years: Brian
The naughty kid, and I often tease him of having 'diarrhoea' (ask him for explanation). I can never imagine Brian as being emo and dull xD

10 years: Chiew Pui Syam a.k.a. Piggy-chan
One of the few who I'm not (entirely) afraid to show my drawings to xP. The hardworking Queen Guide, and I think her personality really goes well with Olivia's (don't ask me why, I don't know how to explain it).

10 years: Jason
Yep, though he used to be kinda annoying last time...but he's quite a fun guy actually. We do talk about lots of different things, and we never get bored >.<

9 years: Crystal
9 years, lots of laughter and a crap load of girl-talk xD. She's the more mature one (though she's 8-9 months younger than I am) and she's a few inches taller *envious* (it used to be the other way round in primary school O_o)... Anyway, our friendship is as clear as crystal!

9 years: Olivia
Lots and lots of hugging and talking nonsense <_<. But I truly admire her outgoing and friendly personality. Also, her handwriting will always be of that huge size xD.

5 years: Lai Kien Hiung (or as Tung and I liked to tease him last time, Chicken Breast Meat xD xD xD)
He's a cool and smart guy. (Though I sometimes have a problem reading his handwriting), we often agree on many things. We talk about the future a lot (and I mean A LOT)...and he's very updated when it comes to electronics and automobiles.

2.5 years: Lai Hsiang Juin (a.k.a. SoLai, as I often call him)
2 years plus+++ but he deserves a place in this blog (and the second one to write in the book). He calls me "Yi Min" (y'know...a type of noodles =.=) and I call him SoLai (and ask him to change 'L' to 'H'). I punch him (a lot) and he gives me thousands of funny reactions xD

2.5 years (I guess maybe 3, but oh well) : Vun Jun Kent (a.k.a. 'dei' or 'bugger', whichever suits the situation)
The super-nerd and Physics + Add. Maths genius. Sure, his 'scientific terms' are always included in his conversation, and he often mistakes 'he' with 'she' (which makes SoLai often the poor sex-changed victim). His spelling mistakes are always present, even when the word is given. But above all that, he's a helpful and very generous guy.

2 years: Yee Ming Kang (a.k.a. William Bunsen Crimson Sunny Yee Ming Kang xD)
I asked him about his plans for the future, and he told me a few things.

Case 1:
Yee: I want to be a baker. Like in Yakitate! Japan.

Case 2:
Yee: I will be in Daniel Tan's band. He plays, I sing, and we create the anime soundtracks. You draw the anime. (LOL)

2 years: Kok Chee Yung (a.k.a. Ribena)
He's often funny, but really, really hardworking and I'm his unofficial teacher~ I would always warm him that I'd punch the living daylights out of him if he were to ever give up xP

2 years: Leong Ming Chen
Kok's beloved friend and *ahem* partner. I asked him to support him and also punch him if Kok gives up xP. (Don't worry, I also warned Leong)

Sure, there are a lot more, but it's kinda late at night...(10-something is late!)
So, later~
(...but never forget)

Kiasu-ness

"Come on lah, just admit it!"
"Just say it out lah!"
"It's so damn obvious lah..."

I've been getting a lot of these phrases (or similar) these days...

I'm not mad or annoyed or anything, but I personally dislike it when I am told things like that...

When I am asked about my results, if I don't say anything, they say that I'm too proud to share it with them.

...And when I answer their question, they say I am too proud until I want to boast my marks.

Come on lah =.= In that case, I can never be humble???

And what's more frustrating, is that I can't talk to others normally...even when I try.
Among the replies I get are:

"You don't need to talk to us. Your standard is too 'high' for us."
"You no need to study also can score lah!!"
"Aiyaaa...no need to study lar you!"
"So what did you do at home? Study all day long?"
"I don't want to disturb you oh...studying there all the time..."

Wei, I'm not a robot! =.=
Call me geeky if you may, but personally I think that some of my results aren't actually that good...

And some people are so kiasu when it comes to marks.
Yes, I am kiasu (I admit it) but not kiasu to the point that I become kiasi...!
SOME PEOPLE.....(correction: some KIASU people)...seem to enjoy hunting down my marks to compare...

I don't mind, go ahead =.= but at least do it HONESTLY LAH!!!
SO KIASI UNTIL YOU WANT TO LIE SO MUCH MEH?!?!

...Ooops...sudden unintended burst of fury.....

Anyway, things don't look too good now...

19 MORE DAYS!!!

I saw that on the board today, but I felt nothing.
I looked at the calendar, and it started to dawn on me.

OMG!!! I haven't started revision!!! (Ever since after exams, that is)

I've gotta do something...=.=

Countdown...

I stare at that black-red board right at the school's basketball court.

I look closely and keep staring in disbelief.
26 DAYS TO SPM?!?!
And that was YESTERDAY. TODAY, IT'S 25 DAYS.

How the heck did it come so fast?!
I mean, on the very first day of exams, there were 42 days left.
Now yesterday was my last day of school exams (because I take Arts too).

What a huge waste of time...
Sure, some argue that all these Excel and Exams can "force" us to study so that we are more prepared.
But I really do not believe that "last minute" preparations count as "preparations" at all.

Anyway...what to do...it has passed...no use wasting more time blabbering about it now...

By the way, here's a snippet that went through my mind yesterday...

***BEFORE BIO EXAMS(revising)***
Hareesh: (from across the classroom) Cynthia...!!!
Cyn: *looks at him* Yeah??
Hareesh: Help!!!
Cyn: *goes from one end of the classroom to the other* What is it?
Hareesh: *points at reference book* What the hell is this??!!
Cyn: *starts explaining*

***AFTER EXAMS a.k.a. YESTERDAY***
Hareesh: How much you got for Bio?
Cyn: 47...
Hareesh: Yes!!! First time I beat you!
Cyn: *stares* ...48?
Hareesh: *nod* *nod*
Cyn: *in awe*

I still find it amazing...O_O
How one can improve so much like that...I'm impressed! xD

Later~!
