The Strange Feeling...

Current condition: Normal
Current mood: :(
Yesterday, I finally used my "free regular pizza" coupon/ticket/whatever you call it... It was Deepavali, and there were very few people at Pizza Hut... so ok-lor...that's a plus-plus...
Because when it's not that crowded, usually the chef will take more of his sweet time to cook the pizza and make it juicier and more delicious~~
So with that coupon, I exchanged it for a Hawaiian Chicken pizza, with extra ooey-gooey cheese~ MMmmmmMMMmmmmm~~~
Then, as I, a total cheese lover, put lots and lots of cheese powder on my pizza, got noticed by one of my waitress, the waitress specially tapau-ed a little box of cheese powder for me...for free~! And then we started a little bit of chit-chat...
Waitress: You are in Form what?
Cyn: Four.
Waitress: Ooh...what school?
Cyn: Sung Siew.
Waitress: Oh! I was from Sung Siew too! Please help me kirim salam to Mr. Ganesan, ok? *shows nametag*
Cyn: Okay.
Today, Tung talked about his trip to KK, how he enjoyed his Caramel Frapuccino from Starbucks (which I envy so much <_<),>
As usual, we got back our exam papers...but to be honest...
I really...didn't expect my Chemistry and Biology marks...
I thought it would be like a pitfall or something...<_<
And...other than those two I got back Arts :( , Add. Maths :|, and Moral :(
Oh well...there isn't much to talk about...
I wonder what will happen tomorrow...T_T...
Later~!
A rainy Sunday...
Current condition: You'll see...
Current mood: Normal
Wow...it's a Sunday...
But it's raining...
But shouldn't it be called RAINday, then...?
Oh well, anyway...
After a long day, I slept...=.= a lot...
And I woke up looking like this:
Believe it or not: Those masks are actually for sale~! (Not that I need them, though)
ANYWAY...Today, I went to Sabah Hotel...no cameras were allowed there, so I didn't take any pictures... Boo...T.T
But guess who I met?
PRISCA!!!
Yep, my primary school friend who still misses me and reads more manga than I do O_o;;
She told me that she was still having exams (since she studies in Tiong Hwa) and will get her report card next year. ...Whoah...kinda unusual...
Besides, she is also the girl that "quarrels" a lot with Jason, and both would tell me their side of the story xD
Jason's side: "She's annoying lah! In her dictionary, bully = Jason"
Prisca's side: "He can talk so much! And say so many bad things, but why is he so smart?!"
And it's kinda funny listening to these two xD
Back to the topic, I went in with Ms. Laurence and Dexter, took our seats on the third row from the front.
Strangely, there were judges' evaluation papers on the seats, with red colour, Sabah Hotel-labelled pencils...
Dexter and I decided to try and be "judges" and fill up the papers as the competition goes on... Just to get a feel of how it's like to judge, that is... xD
Prisca: Who did you come with?
Cyn: Those two (pointing at Dexter and Ms. Laurence)
Prisca: Both teachers?!
Cyn: No...the guy is a student...
Prisca: Harr?! He looks like teacher!...Is he Form 5?
Cyn: ...No, he's Form 3...
Prisca: HARR?!?!
Anyway, there were actually TWO competitions - the evaulation and humourous speech contest. In the evaluation contest, there is a "test speaker" to give an "amateur" speech, and contestants are required to jot down notes, and after about five minutes, come back and "comment" on their speech... Seems something like being a critic...
Dexter and I, being the naughty "kids" that we are, didn't know the names of the contestants, so we just made up names according to their appearance and behaviour... For example, "The Nun", "The Laugher", "The Big Hair", "The Bra Woman" and so on xD
It was okay, but the real humour came in the humorous speech contest (why do you think it's called like that, huh <_<)
Really, it was hilarious...! I am impressed by their natural style and humour... they could really be stand-up comedians! So we gave marks according to what we think...some of the winners were guessed correctly, but some were...strangely incorrect... oh well...I wanted to type more but I don't feel like it =.=Later...and Happy Deepavali!!!
The things that go on...
Current game: Back to Stepmania...
Current condition: Tired after school, but far less than during the exams...
Current mood: Mixed feelings...
Time for another long post! There's no specific topic here, because there's just so much going on!
First, the school magazine is out!
The Young Crusader, Volume 21! I was busy *ahem* drawing *ahem* in school when suddenly a few guys came in with boxes...containing the magazines.
Once I received my copy, I just put it in my bag and resumed drawing (because I didn't feel like reading it...I was the one who proofread it anyway).
Suddenly some girls approach me and showed me page 10 of the magazine...
My goodness...I saw my big big picture there =.= Not that I like or hate it, but it was...magnified a lot...
and the fact that my picture appears in the next page doesn't help either.
Some of them commented "Your picture is bigger than Mr. Patrick's" which is obviously true, but I find myself undeserving for that...I mean, Mr. Patrick worked way harder than I did in this magazine...(and it was him who adjusted the size of the pictures) so...oh well...thanks, Mr. Patrick...!
Second, school results...
For my English Paper...some of my classmates enjoyed laughing at my "My Hero" essay. Some thought it was weird and illogical, but hey, at least there's some creativity, no?
"My Hero" turns out to be a...monkey...=.=
So far...I haven't seen the worst yet...=.= but I've already seen the marks of my SEJARAH paper... and it wasn't pretty...When I asked Janice, all she said was "tee-dot-tee"
It took me a few seconds to think..."tee-dot-tee"??
And I figured out that it referred to this: T.T
(A two crying eyes with a mouth in the middle)
Third, today's webmasters' meeting...
Well, nothing much to say, but it was mostly about the improvements we are gonna make for next year...
And then there's the news that Ms. Lat broke to us suddenly...
Well, I wasn't as surprised as the others because I knew about it (and so did Crystal) the day before...
Ms. Lat: Alright, anything else? I'll be waiting for my Pizza Hut invitation.
The very second, I looked at her...
Because I thought she was about to say "I'll be waiting for the website updates."
=.="... Maybe I'm just too tense or something...I really should loosen up...
Fourth, this Sunday's event?
A few days ago, one of my classmates approached me and told me that I was selected to go to some "Speech Competition" this coming Sunday.
I had NO IDEA was competition it was...I mean...it was so sudden!
Imagine suddenly being told that you are under arrest when all you did was go to school and live life as usual... (Though in my case, obviously it's less serious)
And I was told that I was selected by Mr. Patrick.
So I, putting on my "secret agent" look, walked downstairs *with Mission Impossible theme in the background* to his office and "interrogated" him.
***Note: No humans were harmed in the faking of this conversation***
Cyn: *breaks in the door* Don't Move or I'll shoot!
Mr. P: *raises hands to shoulder level*
Cyn: Explain the event on this Sunday.
Mr. P: W...well, they're having some kind of programme to teach you how to do Public Speaking. I figured that you should join...
Cyn: What time is it?
Mr. P: 8-12
Cyn: What attire?
Mr. P: Something formal.
Cyn: I'm just listening, right? No speaking involved?
Mr. P: That's right.
Cyn: ...Alright.
Mr. P: Join it, okay?
Cyn: ...take out all your money and put it on the table.
*cliffhanger*
Oh well...the next day, I confirmed with Ms. Laurence that I will be going...so...yeah...
Hopefully I can actually learn something from it...
I guess that's it for now...
Later~!
Post-Exam Syndrome...?
Current condition: ...
Current mood: Not very good
Finally...it's the end of exams...
(actually the end was yesterday, but since I had to take the Arts replacement exams today I have to "celebrate" a day later)
My feelings...?
I don't know...I just suddenly...let go...
Exhaled deeply, Loosened my shoulders, Try to do some drawing...
...and suddenly, all these things happen to me (I'd call it "post-exam syndrome")
...I feel slightly ill...as if I just came out of a hellhole =.=
...and I guess that affected my mood as well =.=
For some reason...I feel...tense...worried...
The anticipation of knowing the results is far worse than the exam itself (that's how it is for me, at least =.=)
Also, trying to calm down doesn't help...the more I try, the worse it gets...
AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Later...I'm gonna try Stepmania now...=.= It's been nearly a month...my skills probably decreased drastically...
A few more days to go...
Current music: Lia - NEW WORLD (OMEGA FORCE MIX)
Current manga: Kagen no Tsuki
Current condition: Normal
Current mood: Nnngghh....
Finally...PMR exams are over for the Form 3...
I can go back to the senior block xD
I hoped they all did their best and didn't break down or anything...
Anyway, just finished my 17th Book yesterday~! On to my 18th soon!
Waahh...it's amazing it even surprises me...
On 20th March, nearly seven months ago, I was "celebrating" my 10th Book Anniversary
...Wow...eight books within seven months...(including book Ten, don't use 17 minus 10, count it with your fingers! It's eight books)... I find it quite impressive xD xD
Also, I've posted my "Mini Gallery"
...
When I look back at my past drawings and realized how much difference there was, there's a bit of the "embarassing" feeling...especially when other people see it...
But somewhere in the depths of that embarassment, there's some kind of satisfaction, realising how much improvement has happened...
Maybe...soon I'll post another "Mini Gallery", featuring what I've drawn from Book 11 to 17!
Alright, enough about that...
Now about this manga that I've just recently finished...
I don't usually blog about manga, but this one...It's one of those unforgettable ones that really have an impact on the reader...
Introducing: Kagen no Tsuki (下弦の月) or in English, The Last Quarter of the Moon
is a 1998-1999 manga (quite old, but it's quality is amazing) by Yazawa Ai (who also worked on series like Paradise Kiss and Nana)
Okay, the make it short, it's about romance between guy and girl, girl gets hit by car, goes into coma, communicates with a bunch of kids, kids help her "soul" to find the guy...and the rest are spoilers...
Don't be fooled. This isn't your ordinary "mushy, lemony" love love stories that girls love to read so much...(I'm not into that stuff =.=) It's intense and wonderfully plotted from start to finish. The storyline is amazing, the readers' thinking is involved, the characters' expressions match...everything fits in like a glove!
After finishing this series, I felt...gloomy... You know, that feeling when something has finished... it's like...a big impact on me...
the kind of impact that manga like Ai-Ren, Saikano, Shin Angyo Onshi, Testarotho and Hoshi no Koe gave...
It kinda makes me question life in a way...*sigh*
Well, moving on to another topic, exams are still going on for me T_T... there's still EST, Add Maths and Arts...about 5 more papers...
I can say this: Many of the papers were REALLY tough =.= I can expect to faint when I see the results...
Oh well, that's all for now...Later~!
Insanity?!
Current condition: Still hanging on...barely...
Current mood: On the line between sanity and insanity
On Monday, the form 4 and 5 had their exams in the Junior Block.
On Monday, we, the form 4 had Biology paper.
On Tuesday, we had Sejarah and Sivik paper.
On Wednesday (today), we had Chemistry paper.
My thoughts: WHAT THE *TUUUUT* ?!?!?!?!
My experience in Junior block is *thumbs down*.
Man, the Bio and Sejarah papers were pretty much the "death blow" that made me nearly fell sick for a whole day, but I had to recover...somehow...
Chemistry today was---I had to admit---tough.
Even with Chemistry as one of my best subjects, it was tough. Very.
In reply to Tung's cbox message: Yep, lol xD When I have too much time I will draw, even during exams~. But when the teachers see it they shake their head...lol.
Anyway, my "bad experience" in Junior block wasn't only due to the *tut tut tut tut* hard papers, but also to the *tut tut tut tut* toilet.
Possibly ignoring the fact that I've spent 3 years in that block AND using the toilets in that block,
and most likely already used to the "slightly more spacious, though similar odour" senior block toilet,
I finally realised the difference between the toilets of the two blocks.
1) The COLOUR...
...of the walls. Aiyah, that one is not important, but oh well...
2) The layout...
I just figured out that while the Senior Block has girls' toilet on 2nd floor Block A and 3rd floor Block B, at the Junior Block there are 3 girls' toilets O_o?! Like an idiot, I walked all the way to the other block just to masuk tandas padahal the toilet just one or two classes away...
3) The door locks!
Ah, who could forget the door-lock crisis... The toilet doors...with no locks! And the distance between the toilet bowl and the door is so great that if you even try to push the door and *do your business* at the same time, your ^^^^ will end up wetting the floor <_<
That's one reason why in some toilet rooms the toilet bowl is cleaner than the floor.
4) The water leakage system...
I know this happens in the Senior Block toilets too, but it's more common in Junior Block!
i) When you ^^^^ in the toilet bowl your ^^^^ comes out from under the bowl <_< I mean, what the--?! It's annoying when your shoes get wet...
ii) When you open the tap to wash your hands, either no water comes out or the water comes out from under the sink. Waah...even the sink has business to do...
5) Last but definitely not least, the height difference?!?!?!
I know the Junior Block used to be a primary school, but that adds to my curiosity...
Is that the reason they make the Junior Block toilet bowls so *tuuut*-ing low?!
I mean, yalah lower a bit is fine, but not low until like nursery chair mah =.=
It's so low it's like we're going back to being potty-trained =.=
Imagine being fairly tall and suddenly siting down on a very low chair/toilet bowl.
You'll bend your knees until can't bend anymore then your whole body will "fall" onto the seat.
Now imagine the chair/toilet bowl filled with ^^^^ from others...
GYAAAHHHH!!!!!
It'll be great if the school's toilets become like Brunei toilets, eh? Made of gold~
Anyway, tomorrow will be Physics paper...
Oh no...................................................
Later~
Ten-ten-zero-eight!
Current condition: NormalCurrent mood: A bit dull...So today is ten-ten-zero-eight!Just got back from school!Today, there was Moral exams O_oI wrote till my hands hurt! Many of my classmates could not finish the paper... and I had to admit... remembering those Moral values and their definitions were really, really tough. Then comes the ICT paper...dang! At one point, I felt it was okay, but at another I felt like I did worse in my ICT than my Moral!!So what's next?? Starting Monday, we will be taking our exams in 1E xO...Going back to the Junior block sure brings back some memories...Anyways, good luck to all the Form 3 in their PMR!!!Starting next week, the papers are gonna be TOUGH...probably even tougher than jumping off a cliff.Later~
It's gonna be uphill now...
Current condition: Fair
Current mood: Neutral
Second day of exams--over!
Finally...all the language papers are done with. It's really gonna get tough from now...
Anyway, the first day (yesterday) was BM Papers 1 and 2.
Okok-lor...except for the "peribahasa" part =.=
And today was English Papers 1, 2 and Maths Paper 1
As Tung was "tut-tut"-ing about how he was lacking time, I had about half an hour of free time after I finished both essays.
There was so much time...and the rest were still diligently writing...I felt as if I missed one essay. (the same happened with BM Karangan) I checked and checked and checked...but still...
Anyway, for the second paper, (objective, summary and literature) I still had more than an hour left after I've finished. But at least I wasn't alone. I could see some taking the chance to sleep or just sit back and relax.
And then...for the MATHEMATICS PAPER 1, goodness! No offence, but the pictures were SO UGLY!!! XO
It's as if they were taken with a 2 megapixel camera and enlarged to fit!!!
I mean, how could you turn a cube into a cuboid when the measurements of every side are the same?!?!?!
Oh well...at least the paper could still be answered <_<
And guess what? After the test, one of my classmates told me "Some of the questions came out from this book".
And dang, I have that book too O_o but I didn't do the questions...
That's it for now I suppose...
Later~
Almost time...!
Current condition: Normal
Current mood: Hmmmm.... <_<
Fifth of October...Sunday...! How fast time passes =.=
Last night, I went to Giant and met Brandon.
(note that the conversation is in Hakka xD)
Cyn: Hi. How ah?
Brandon: Oklor...almost exams...
Cyn: PMR leh...
Brandon: *shows that "don't say it..." face*
Cyn: So...are you nervous?
Brandon: I've already been nervous enough...until I cannot be nervous anymore...
Cyn: Studied too much?
Brandon: I study until I don't know what I've become. (whoa...that's serious).
Cyn: So, after PMR free lor.
Brandon: Yeah, the moment PMR finish, I will throw all my books out and the teachers will be like this: *shows a shocked face*
Wow...even a carefree and happy-go-lucky guy like Brandon faces that much stress =.=
Why is it that I still turn on the TV and watch for hours...?
Oh well...
Later.....
