Being thrifty...

Today I went out with my pals again...
Well, yeah I've been going out quite a lot lately, but hey...
... while we're all still here, might as well spend and cherish whatever time we have left together, no?

So anyway...
I know it's just one day (and fortunately it is)
but I think I've spent a little too much...

Okaaay... it's not that much actually (RM 16 bah)
but it's not something I'd normally do =="

For your information, my usual daily expenses are about...
... anywhere between RM 0 to RM 3. Yeeaaaahh....

Well, what did I spend RM 16 on? It's not shopping, I can assure you =="
Shopping is definitely not my kind of thing.

Okay, get ready. RM 12 I spent today on Pizza Hut with my friends =="
Pretty reasonable, if you ask me.
Another RM 4 is spent on about 2 hours of CC-ing... okaaayy....

Later in the evening, we went to De Venice (or whatever the name was... I forgot ==")
Everybody ordered something to drink except me xD

Not just because I want to save money, but because I was still full from the pizzas =.=
Besides... RM 7.80 for a glass of 'something' is a bit too...
...err... let's just say my typical drink at a kopitiam would be RM 1++...

So am I thrifty? Damn right I am xD
And I am proud to be thrifty!
Of course, being too thrifty isn't good either...
But I try my best to be average-thrifty xD

I know a whole bunch of extreme spendthrifts,
some normal money-users,
a few rational ones,
almost no thrifty people,
and totally zero extremely thrifty ones =.=
And yes, all this despite most of the people I know are of average income...

Is this a problem?!
I don't know... maybe not at the moment... but it could be a major issue in the future...

Hmm... what kind of money user are you?

Think about it =D
Later~!

No Man is an Island

Recently, I started replaying Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles.
I'll admit, it has always been one of my all-time favourites, and it will always have a place in my heart.

No matter how many times I replay it, I never get bored of it =D

I watched the Disney movie Fantasia 2000, because it is also one of my all-time favourites.
In February I replayed Parasite Eve (also a favourite)...

And that I did alone... but what about my buddies?

Yesterday, I went out with Chuin, Joan and William...to have some fun outside =D
Left 4 Dead (1 and 2) is another memorable game =D
I had an online chat session with Lai Kien Hiung...
and I helped out with So Lai (Lai Hsiang Juin)'s mini-problem xD

Oh, yeah... did I mention I discussed about formal clothing with Joan and Yennie?
I SMS-ed Crystal for a while...
I also spoke with Vun recently...
... gave some advice to Tung...
Chatted with Olivia too...

... and you know what I think?

I'm taking a trip down memory lane =D

Well, not necessarily with the people I knew from the past, but we are considered quite close nevertheless.

Remember those times when everyone laughed, shared and lent a helping hand?
All those awesome moments... right before the phrase called "get a life" someone influences everyone?

That's right. Once you reach a certain age or time, you start to drift apart.
No matter how close you say you are, there are certain times, when you are not as close as you used to be.

There are a lot of factors that cause this... busy life, change in mindset, external influences... and there may be a lot more.

But this trip down memory lane will only be a fun trip if you are not travelling alone =)

So everyone, try it sometime. Get reconnected with those who you think have drifted apart for far too long. The 'reward' is fantastic =D

As my classmates and I were all told by an inspiring English teacher last year:
"No man is an island".
